Kushinagar Attractions
Indo-Japanese-Srilankan Temple consists of a single circular chamber that houses a golden image of Buddha at Kushinagar that was built by the Atago Isshin World Buddhist Cultural Association. There is a beautiful Ashta Dhatu (eight metlas) statue of Lord Buddha in this temple, brought from Japan. It has a quietly lit by small, marked-glass window.

Kushinagar Museum
Kushinagar Museum is one of the beautiful spots that are located near the Indo-Japan-Sri Lankan Buddhist Centre. It portrays the artifacts unearthed in this area. One can see many statues, carved panels, coins, sculptures, architectural remains, and bronze statues in this museum. The prime attraction of the stucco statue of Lord Buddha is in meditation pose that justifies the prominence of the Gandhara School of Art.

Lin Sun Chinese Temple is a perfect depiction of located of Buddha’s image at Kushinagar. The total exterior of the temple is perfect combination of Chinese and Vietnamese architecture providing free accommodation facility for pilgrims.

Mathakuar Shrine
Mathakuar Shrine is a pleasant shrine located near the Nirvana Stupa, in Kushinagar. At this place, Lord Buddha had given his last lecture to his devotees. The temple preserves a wonderful statue made out of black stone presenting Buddha seated place under the ‘Bodhi Tree’ in a pose known as ‘Bhumi Sparsh Mudra’.

Meditation Park
Meditation Park is a beautiful destination that is located at Kushinagar. It is located near the Nirvana Temple encompassing artificial water bodies with raised lush-green platforms for meditation. It is also encircled by Sal trees and other afforestations that depicts complete Buddhist atmosphere.

Nirvana Stupa
Nirvana Stupa lies in front of the Mahaparinirvana Temple that is situated in Kushinagar. It was built in the traditional Mathura school of art which was carried to Kushinagar by a Buddhist monk during the reign of Kumaragupta. This stupa is referred to the death of the Buddha when he was 80 years old. It represents the Buddha's complete amalgamation into the maximum state of mind. It is designed in the bell-shaped and usually not decorated.
