Kanha National Park
Kanha National Park is the most popular tourist attraction in Kanha that is found in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh Kanha. It is considered to be the well maintained pleasant Park in India. The Kanha Park was turned into a National Park in 1955. With an advent of the Project Tiger, the park had to be announced a tiger reserve in 1974.Today Kanha is amongst the most exciting scenic and beautiful wildlife reserves in Asia.
Kanha National park is open from the month of November to June. The highpoint of your visit would be the unique privilege of sitting atop an elephant and give an opportunity to the visitors to watch the fascinating Royal Bengal tiger activities in its natural surroundings plus its own home. Kanha is a big home of 22 species of mammals that has Striped Palm Squirrel, Common Langur, Jackal, Wild Pig, Chital or Deer, Barasingha or Swamp Deer, Sambar and Black Buck.
Bamni Dadar is one of the most beautiful areas of the park that is also known as Sunset Point. It offers the tourists the spectacular delight of watching a sunset. One can also get an opportunity to see a beautiful view of the luxuriant Kanha forests. Animals can also be sighted from here that is located at a distance of 260 kms from Kanha National Park.
