The Golconda Fort is reflective of the military architecture during the time of Qutab Shahi rulers that was founded as early as the twelfth century by the Kakatias. It is located on a hill and is intelligently planned by the architectures of the time that allows accurate ventilation during the summer months.
The Fort of Golconda in Hyderabad has a deep belonging to historical rulers. A mud fort is built by The Kakatiya in Golconda in 1143. The main depicting point of the fort is a light-and-sound show which is the most popular in this fort. The timings of this show vary during summers and winters. The timings of the show during November–February are at 6:30 pm and during March-October the shows begin at 7 pm.
