Day 01 - Arrive Bangkok

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your guide, then transfer (private with Guide) to the hotel in Bangkok.

Overnight: Bangkok

Day 02 - Bangkok City and Temple Tour

Thailand Tour After breakfast at the hotel, you begin your sightseeing tour. Your tour begins at the most famous tourist spots in Bangkok; the Royal Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there is a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception. Next, you will visit Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, and also the temple holding the largest single Buddha image; the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas). This temple is also known as the birthplace of Thai traditional massage. We then go for lunch at a local restaurant, after which, we continue on to visit Wat Arun, perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best-known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok. After we take local public express boat to Ratchawong pier, then take vehicle transfer to Yaowarat Road where you visit an interesting shop selling bird’s nests and shark fins, continue to a very old tea shop to enjoy a cup of Chinese tea with the locals before heading down Trok Leng Moi EIA (a small alley) to Talad Kao for an interesting local market with a variety of fresh foods, fresh dry fruits, Chinese herbs, groceries. End the walk at Wat Leng Neng Yee to visit the Taoist temple.

After this, we return to the hotel and you are free at leisure.

Day 03 - Bangkok - Chiang Mai (By Flight) - Khantoke Dinner

Breakfast is served at the hotel, then your guide pick-up at the hotel and transfer (private with guide) and transfer to Bangkok airport to take your own flight to Chiang Mai where is located in the north of Thailand. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will meet your tour guide and then transfer to the hotel, free at your leisure.

In the evening you will enjoy the famous “Khantoke Dinner”, also known as the northern Thai welcome dinner, accompanied by traditional hill tribe dancing.

Day 4 - Chiang Mai City Tour: Doi Suthep

Breakfast is served at the hotel, then your guide pick-up at the hotel and go to explore Chiang Mai, from there, you will transfer to visit Doi Suthep Temple which is one of the most sacred temples in Chiang mai known by the Thais as Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. It is located on a hilltop and is built in the Northern-Thai style, and it is said to contain the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. From here, you will also enjoy a panoramic view of the whole city. After this, we return to the hotel where you will have some free time at leisure to relax on your own.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai Free Day (Optional Elephant Jungle Sanctuary)

Breakfast is served at the hotel, today is free at leisure.

(Optional) - Pick up from your hotel. Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas. Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behaviour. Meet the elephants. Feed, interact and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behaviour and history. Take photos with the elephants.

Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.

Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.

Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants.

Change clothes and say goodbye to the elephants.

Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai. Drop off at your hotel.

Day 6 - Chiang Mai Departure
