The Garh palace has a plenty of petite palaces built surrounding the central majestic residence. These were built by many rulers of the city. A big height of wall encloses the palace premises and makes its structure more like a fort. This palace has been commissioned by Rao Balwant Singh.
There are many tales that have been attached to it. The famous Hada Rani was a queen of one of the leaders who left the ground of the battlefield. She was very happy that she chopped off her head and showed it to him upon his entry into the palace.
Nawal Sagar Lake
The Nawal Sagar Lake is an artificial lake that has more than a few small islands. It is placed in the middle of the city as tourists can see the reflection of the entire city in this lake.
