However, today I’m going to introduce you with the undiscovered cousin of Bali – Seminyak, that is not on the tourist circuit of Bali Indonesia, but it should be for all the good reasons. Seminyak is the cool cousin of Kuta and is located around 6 km. Though, both the hamlet of Bali are close in proximity, but I’ll suggest you explore Seminyak as well on your Bali tour package. Frankly, Seminyak is way less crowded to its cousin Kuta, and in terms of beaches as well, Seminyak tops the rank of Bali’s best beaches.
Get to know about Seminyak places, Nearby & things to do
Seminyak is wedged between Kuta on the south and Canggu to the north. It has Instagrammable bars and restaurants, sea temples, sexy beach clubs and trendy cafes that run along the coastlines. From best surfing schools to variety boutique clothing stores; from delicious food items to market and art galleries, there is something for everyone in Seminyak Bali.

Seminyak is around 6 km from Kuta Bali, 10 km from Ngurah Rai Airport. It is also located at a prominent distance – 30 km from Jimbaran and 20 minutes from Canggu – the hippie town of Bali.
Seminyak is just north of Kuta and Legian, so it is quite easy to explore these areas in a single day tour. You could witness the hippie’s vibes in Canggu and laze around its beaches, test a bike ride through the rice terraces. Along with this, you can pay your visit to Tanah Lot Temple, located on the coast.
Can I Spot Cultural Vibes In Seminyak?
Frankly, I’ve not seen people engaging in cultural activities in Seminyak Bali, because it is a tourist hub. However, you can spot Balinese Culture by watching local theatre performances. But if you seriously want to soak the traditional Balinese culture, Ubud is 1.5 hours away from Seminyak and is the cultural heart of Bali.
Walk Along The Beaches
Feed your mind an soul with the sand and water in between your toes, this is one of the ultimate vacation feelings in Seminyak Bali. Take a long secluded walk with your partner, holding hands in hands in Seminyak beach. And don’t forget that sunsets here are best witnessed in the evening time. However, options to satiate your water sport adventures are many, and you can do surfing, snorkeling, swimming and more!

This sea temple in Seminyak is an architecturally beautiful marvel, and Hindus of Bali believes that the temple is protecting them from the sea devil for many decades. This temple is an active place for worship, so it’s a base for religious ceremonies and annual festivals too.
