Andaman Tour

Andaman is a glittering tourist destination in India that is located in the Bay of Bengal. It is a part of the Union Territory of India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There, one will find many islets and rocks add the topography of the Andaman Islands. It has approximately about 26 islands which are human inhabited.

Anadaman is covered with many historically important events and locations. The name of Andaman even appears in 9th century Arab literatures. Many rulers in India have ruled as the camping location of military troops. The Cellular Jail in Port Blair is closely knit to the Indian Independence struggle. It was in this jail, thousands of freedom fighters were imprisoned as exile hostages.

The geography of the Andaman Islands consists of hilly regions with dense green forests. The peak point in Andaman is Diglipur, a magnificent picnic spot from where tourists can enjoy the surrounding sea shores and the majestic sea embracing the sand enriched shores. It is also blessed with a plenty of plant species and sea surrounding. The tropical rain forests and water of Bay of Bengal are the home of a vast collection of plant, animal and marine life.

One of the real attractions of this place is soft sandy beaches that have seclusion in a serene, unpolluted and unexplored atmosphere. The Andaman is a blend of many adventurous activities like scuba diving, Snorkeling, Camping and Trekking. This is one of the catchy tourist destinations in India in which tourists can enjoy the wonderful sight-seeing of praise worthy marine life.

Travel within city
Travelling around the Andaman Islands is pretty easy, as there are many auto rickshaws, taxis, scooters and motorcycles available for passenger ferries.

Passenger ferries are the easiest as well as convenient modes of travelling tourists go for in the Andaman. It is quite cost effective, as the charges hover around Rs 150 to 200 only. Moreover, small ferries are available for tourists and large ferries are available for the locals

Auto Rickshaw
Auto rickshaws are one of the cheapest modes of transport that are available in the main islands and you can use these to travel within the island. They do not run on meter and negotiating a predetermined rate is advisable. Fares of it may range from Rs 10 to 40.

Taxis are the most preferred mode which are available in the Port, will charge slightly more, around Rs 100 to 200.

Scooters can be rented from local dealers for a deposit of around Rs 750 to 1000.
