Goa Dudhsagar Waterfall and Spice Plantation Tour.

In this tour you will take a Jeep safari through the Western Ghats, driving through rivers and over rocks. Refresh yourself at spectacular Dudhsagar Falls on the Goa-Karnataka border, and visit a local spice farm to learn about the cultivation of herbs and spices.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Goa port (your guide will be waiting for you at the EXIT GATE of port, having a placard and your name written on it) & drive to Dudhsagar Waterfall which is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside. The exuberant and spectacular waterfall is located in the Sanguem taluka.

Measuring a mighty 600m from head to foot, this waterfall on the Goa-Karnataka border, attracts a steady stream of visitors from the coast into the rugged Western Ghats. After pouring across the Deccan plateau, the headwaters of the Mandovi River form a foaming torrent that splits into three streams to cascade down a near-vertical cliff face into a deep green pool.

The Konkani name for the falls, which literally translated means "sea of milk", derives from clouds of milky foam which rises up at the bottom of the falls. Dudhsagar is set amidst breathtaking scenery overlooking a steep, crescent-shaped head of a valley carpeted with pristine tropical forest that is only accessible on foot or by train. Arrival at Dudhsagar Waterfall Enjoy a filled with magic straight out of the Jungle Book! Ride on an elephant, take a refreshing swim with your new friend, and visit a colorful spice plantation.

Experiencing the joy of riding an elephant. Then ride a bullock cart, and take a refreshing swim before visiting a spice plantation hidden far away front the tourist hotspots of Goa. Travel over the river on a boat before landing on firm land and indulging in local herbal tea.

Then see the men climb on the Betel Nut trees over a hundred feet above ground and collecting ingredients for exotic spices. A truly unique opportunity to see the beauty of local culture that you won't want to miss. Later drive back to Goa & Drop to your Cruise.
