BARRACUDA SCUBA DIVING INDIA started operations in 1993 to promote the sport of Recreational Diving in India. Affiliated to PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) of California, USA, the leading dive education organization in the world, we are the first and only PADI International Resort Association Gold Palm resort (Membership No.R-6023) within the entire sub-continent. This status, held since 1997, recognizes the high standards of diver education, safety, care, equipment and resident staff training and denotes a quality control assurance to divers worldwide.
 

Location
Located in the 5 star resort of Goa Marriott Resort, 3 kms from the capital city of Panjim and only 40mins from the popular northern Goa tourist belt, you will find a warm welcome awaiting you from the Barracuda team.

Qualifications
Owners Venkat & Karen are dedicated to customer service, safety and fun! As PADI qualified IDC Staff Instructors and Emergency First Response Instructors, with extensive diving and teaching experience in Hong Kong, Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Andaman Islands and Lakshadweep Islands, they are able to offer a wide range of certification courses and dive packages to suit the individual needs.

Safety
To ensure enjoyment, comfort and safety for all, dive groups are limited to 2-4 persons per Instructor / Divemaster and are conducted to suit the individual with customer care and service second to none. A comprehensive medical kit including portable oxygen and communications systems are carried on board at all times. All staff members are trained in administering basic first aid and CPR

Equipment
Highly maintained and serviced, our equipment offers the best of Oceanic, Seaquest, Sherwood and Cressi Sub. All divers are supplied with alternate air source, depth gauge and SPG. Wet suits are optional, swimwear is compulsory!

Facilities
Complimentary 'Try Scuba' experience programmes are conducted weekly in a selection of hotels throughout Goa. For those wishing to enrol in dive programs or certification courses, pool training dives may be conducted in the following resorts.. Goa Marriott Resort, Sun Village and Aldeia Santa Rita. We'll come to you!
