Rohet TourRohet is a quaint place that is found in the south of Jodhpur settled by the Bishnoi community. It has a major = centre of attraction is a 375 year old fortified desert home which stands on the banks of a small lake teeming with birdlife.The refined family still resides in the Rohet Garh, renovated in the traditional Rajput style. Travveing within this city is quite interesting through jeep, camel or horse safaris into the desert and Bishnoi tribal areas. Village Safari The areas around Rohet are populated by the Bishnoi clan famous for their understanding to ecology. It is small village which is made of mud hamlets called Dhanis.  Wildlife Safari The region around Rohet is quite surprisingly rich in wildlife. With the help of Jeep, you will be able to see Neelgais (Blue Bull), handsome but shy Black Bucks, and the dainty Chinkaras. Moreover, there is number of bird-life activities such as Shikras, Indian Rollers, Black Shouldered Kites, Indian Coursers and Desert Wheatear, Horse Riding Rohet Garh has some fine activity of Marwari horses. These horses are quite sensitive but honest nature and beautiful, free-flowing gait which make it a pleasure to ride. One can therefore enjoy and experience some wonderful riding.
