Parvati hill is one of the most relaxing spots in pune which rises up to 2,100 feet (640 m) above sea level. It is the second highest scenic locations in Pune comprising 103 steps, which is the way to the top of the hill where the Paravatti temple is situated. It is believed that this temple is the oldest shrine which was exclusively employed for the prayers of Peshwa rulers in previous time. After many years, it was opened to public to visit from at 5.00 am to at 8.00 pm. The hill offers panoramic views of the city to the visitors.one can also witness picturesque scene in the evening of a day. There is one big and three small temples situated on this hill.
Paravatti hill has 103 steps to reach the hilltop. Visiting people has to clime all the steps to reach on the op of the temple. These steps are the marvel blending of fine special black quarry stone work of the Maratha period reflecting their talent and architecture formation.
