Travel Zoo India
Zoo is the place where we keep wild and endangered animals in proper manner so that the animals can be reserved free from dangers. In India there are several zoos where these animals are living life freely in the lap of dense forest, which is surrounded by lush large trees, plants and other natural creations. Many animal species are getting reduced in numbers every year, often it happen happens that they are getting killed by tribes or because to less breeding capacity the animals are nor getting chance to reproduction. Owing to these reasons they are becoming extinct. Further, apart from saving individual animals, zoos have a role to play in species conservation too so that the species can be carried out for many other coming generations.
Moreover, the other reasons of establishing zoos are to give an opportunity to common people to see wild and endangered animals who have excellent contribution to balance the nature. As we know that seeing animals closely with naked eyes are very difficult for common mass, so these zoos are proving opportunity to see the wild animals closely. These zoos establishments provide love interest of animals where people get strong feel of their actual existence.
In India there are more than 300 zoos in India which were officially started in after 1800 after the declaration of wild life act.
The first zoo was established in 1801 at barrack pore (Calcutta), but due to some reason the zoo got closed in 1878 and later the another zoos got incorporated in year 1854 named marble palace zoo which is apparently one of the largest zoo in India and spread in huge area.
All these Zoos are running under administration and command of the Central Zoo Authority. Moreover the managerial work being run and managed by both private and government organizations so that no discrepancy occurs during the working process. The entire zoological process is smoothly managed and controlled by many years by this body. Further, to manage the things properly the Government of India has recently issued few of rules and regulations regarding the establishment and preservation of Zoos in India where they will follow strict rules to safe these animals.
Kolkata Zoo
There are various zoos in India where the wildlife lovers can go and see the
animals that are equally precious for us. Zoological Garden is one of the largest
zoo preservation of India which is spread in area of 100acres. This zoo is located
in Alipore. The zoo was established in 1876 which is now best place for various
birds, animals, and reptiles. People from aall over world come in this zoo and
view these animals at closet through naked eyes.
Delhi Zoo
Delhi located National Zoological Park which h was established in the year 1959
is spread in the huge area of more than 200 acres which is another largest zoological
parks in India. In this zoo one can see large number of animals and birds who
are spread in all the corners of the zoo. In this zoo the visitors can come and
explore the like of rare seen Manipur Brow-antlered deer that are kept in best
possible way to save their life and besides this deer one can come and see White
Tiger, Hoolock Gibbon, White Buck and many.
Chennai Zoo
Chennai Zoo is another famous and well established zoo in India which is spread
in the wide and large area of 1,600 hectares. This Zoo is a one of the best breeding
places for the rare Lion Tailed Macaque, which can only be seen in Western Ghats.
Due to copious space and lush greenery all the animals are adequately preserved
so that they can wander freely and be saved for other dangers. Moreover, owing
to its beautiful picturesque every day more than 3,000 visitors come and see
the life of these wild animals.
Guwahati Zoo
Guwahati Zoo is one of the largest of its kind in the North East region of India’s
which was established in the year 1957. The Zoo is located in Guwahati which
is the capital of Assam. This is Zoo cum Botanical Garden is spread over an area
of 1.75 square kilometers where one can come and see the great Indian One-horned
Rhinoceros, Asian Elephants, Bears, Royal Bengal Tigers and many more animals
like Capped Langur, Black headed Oriole.
Junagadh Zoo
Junagadh Zoo is one of the oldest zoos which are better known as Sakkarbaug Zoological
Garden, situated at Junagadh Gujarat. This zoo was even established way back
in 1863 by the Nawabs and is best place to mammals and birds along with 111 reptile
species. Moreover, the zoo is highly recognized for is the main claim to fame
of Sakkarbaug Zoo is for its commendable work on the breeding of Asiatic lions.
Further, this zoo is one of its kind where one can come and the lions which is
ranked among largest breeding center in the country.
Nanital Zoo
Nanital Zoo is located n the hills of Sher ka Danda 2 km from Tallital Bus station
which was named after Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant. This zoo is High
Altitude Zoo is places in Uttarakhand state is an ideal place for Himalayan Palm
Civet, Siberian Tigers, Hill Fox, Snow Leopards, Silver pheasants and many more.
Interestingly there are some species which can be nicely seen in cool weather.

Hyderabad Zoo
Hyderabad Zoo is also known as The Nehru Zoological Park located near Mir Alam
Tank in Hyderabad. The park is extended in the huge area of over 380 acres and
600 acres where one can see near around 3,500 species of birds, animals and reptiles.
Moreover, the major attraction of the place is white-backed vultures, Crocodile
Orangutan, Python, Deer, Antelopes and Birds. Further, in this safari one can
come and enjoy the Lion Safari and Tiger Safari Parks. As we know that apart
from historical values, this land can also be seen as the home of wildlife animals.
