The temples of India are broadly divided into two parts known as temples of north India and temples of south India on the basis of their architectural style. The temples of north India are the part of an age old evolution of spiritual melody and the abode of divine and serene compassions. The evolution of north Indian temples can roughly be traced back to over two thousand whereas their architectural elements are solely of religious considerations made up of timber and thatch buildings.
