Marine Drive is a 3 km long road connecting Nirman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill at the heart of the country, Mumbai. It looks like a ‘C’ shape in a natural bay. Being constructed by Netaji Subhash Bose, this road came to be known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose marg. Its well-maintained pathways are the elite attractions of this location embellished for the tourists to come and enjoy. This path is enclosed with verdant green palm trees to provide cool and calm atmosphere to the people at the evening.
Built in 1920's and 1930's, the Marine Drive is located at the heart of Mumbai. It’s beautiful and greenery surroundings give you fresh air to breathe and bestow at the evening. On the sides of this road, one will see several trees and different street lights look like a gold necklace however; it came to be known as Queen's Necklace.
