Elephanta caves
Elephanta caves are a confabulation of three small villages nearby Mumbai located at Gharapuri Island. Dating back to the period 9th to 13th century AD, the caves are believed to be famous for the ancient sculptures and the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Thousands of domestic and foreign travelers visit to see a UNESCO world heritage site.

The prime idol in the temple is Ardhanarishwara, a combination of half man and half woman characterizing Shiva and Parvathy. The temple is constructed by rock cuts and its designing is based on the Hindu astrological knowledge base. It is famed as a wonderful sculpture of elephants representing three faces of Trinity, Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara. Thus, a fascinating cave, gained a high worth attraction to visit.

Marine Drive
Marine Drive is a natural bay in C shape linking Malabar hills and Nariman Point in Mumbai officially known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
