According to the legends, the spirituality in the temple is dedicated to Bhuweneshawari, who is considered as the sister of Lord Vishnu. Visitors can see the pictures of Goddess Durga on the walls of this temple which exhibits the traditional structure of this location. It is also known as Bekhli Temple, walls of this scared place are decorated with the sequence of avatars of Goddess Durga. The main deity of this shrine is the sister of Lord Vishnu, widely famous as Bhuweneshawari.
Behind the construction of this temple, a story has laid down which still holds the attention of the tourists. There was shepherd boy and he used to play flute. One day, he saw two girls were dancing on the magical tunes of his flute. Suddenly, he caught one of them, named as Goddess Bhuweneshawari. She was disclosed her identity and agreed to stay in the village at Bekhli. Later on, this temple has been built by the local architecture presenting Gaddi tribal and Rajasthani influences.
