Luni is a small charming village that is found just a half an hour drive (35 kilometers) from Jodhpur. Luni has the most striking sight called Fort Chanwa, a testimony to the refined Indian architecture. Kaviraj Muraridanji was built by Kaviraj Muraridanji in red sandstone. It is designed with traditional paintings and the immaculate carvings that keep the spirit of the bygone era alive. The fort, now converted into a massive hotel, Maharaja Dalip Singhji and his wife Rani Madhu have kept the appeal intact.
Climate
The weather of Luni is semi-arid. The ideal time to visit at this place to see the excellent forts is between Octobers to March when the climate is pretty pleasant.
