The Kumbhalgarh Fort is one of the 84 fortresses Mewar that is located to the south of Jaipur and is 105 kms from Udaipur. The Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary adjoins the fort to shield the fort from enemies and protects thousands of exotic species of animals. There is another attraction that is Muchchal Mahavir temple situated 5 kms from Ghanerao in the sanctuary. It will give the tourists a lifetime experience forever.
It is designed by Rana Kumbha and its 36 kms long wall and soaring towers is the most impressive to attract the tourists very easily. It has steel grey ramparts enclose the fertile Shero Mallah valley with antique monuments, cenotaphs, ponds and flourishing farms. Haldighati is such as scenic place where the famous battle between Rana Pratap and Akbar was fought.
