Easter holidays
According to the famous English monastic historian the English word “Easter” derives from the Anglo-Saxon for the month of April, which was known as "Eostremonath" meaning “the month of openings” and since Pasch was most often observed in Eostremonath, the English Christians started to call it “Easter”. Customs and rituals associated to the goddess Eostre revolve around new beginnings, represented by the Easter egg and fertility and symbolized by the hare or Easter bunny. It’s the reason that the Christians celebrated this festival with full eager and happiness and prefer to enjoy the festival by outing to such a destination where they find all themes at one place. The Easter holidays in India is famous among the travelers of the world because of this reason as India Easter holidays besides providing the leisure holidays, maintains the charm of festivity if celebrating in Goa where they find very little difference in their own culture, traditions, rites, rituals and ethos.
