The history of ancient civilization of India is of the ages or eras in the evolution of Indian history at large starting from pre-historic era to the colonial era of modern India. The ancient civilization of India is also known in the history as Indus Valley Civilization, the history of which can be traced back to the Bronze Age began from 3300 to 1300 BCE which disseminated and prospered in the north western part of Indian subcontinent mainly covering the regions of Gujarat, Harayana, Punjab and Rajasthan and today’s Pakistan especially the part of Sindh and Punjab and the famous cities of Dholavira, Kalibangan, Rupar, Rakhigarhi, Lothal which are located in present India and the cities of Harappa, Ganeriwala, Mohenjo-daro in today’s Pakistan. While navigating the sites of ancient civilization of India, one of the world's three earliest urban civilizations along with Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt, the tourists will get an opportunity to see glorious India in its real form illustrious for its cities constructed of brick, road-side drainage system and multi-storied houses. The objects of the settlement found on these excavated sites are conceived to be more than 5,000 years old which have also revealed numerous ancient artefacts like seals, beads, animal bones, gold, silver, terracotta ornaments and vessels.
