The Nizam’s Museum is the most magnificent creation in Hyderabad that is situated in Purana Haveli, in the heart of the city just two kilometers from Charminar. There are number of displays of gifts and mementos on the silver jubilee celebrations. The museum is open at 10am to 6 pm all the days.
The Nizam's Museum was contributed to the seventh and last Nizam of Hyderabad, the late Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan. The fabulous museum consists of a massive collection of souvenirs, mementos, and models of vintage cars that was gifted to Mir Osman Ali Khan on the Silver Jubilee of his celebrated sovereignty in 1936.
The prestigious museum is situated near Hyderabad’s legendary Purani Haveli that is long association by the erstwhile second Nizam of Hyderabad in the year 1750. The newly refurbished museum exhibits a fabulous collection of historical memoirs. A 1930 Rolls Royce, Packard and a Mark V Jaguar are some of the legends.
Several magnificent models like a gold Tiffin box inlaid with diamonds, a miniature gold model of the Jubilee Pavilion, diamond studded silver coffee cups and a silver filigree elephant with its mahout are also very popular in this museum.
