According to Hindus, Haridwar is considered as one of the holiest city that is located in the state of Uttaranchal in northern India. It is also famed as the Gateway to the Gods. Public Service Commission. Moreover, it has a famous Kumbh fair that is organized
at the interval of every 12 years in this city in which about 1 crore pilgrims
from across the world participate.
