The evolution of airways in India and opening of different airports at the major cities like Goa Airport was an output of the collective efforts of "Estado da Índia Portuguesa in the 1950s". At present, Goa Airport is well connected by the domestic and international airports from where almost all the major flights operate. The Airport of Goa is also considered as the busiest tourist airports in India which is located at a distance of around 29 Kms from its capital city of Goa. The Airports of Goa are well provisioned and customer-friendly.
